Texas 2003/2004

Texas was named for the Texas Indians who were encountered by the Spaniards in the 17th Century

In 2003 we spent three weeks in Texas. Mileage has increased to 9.8 MPG. Our first visit to the Gulf of Mexico was at  Galveston Island State Park. Next, we moved Northwest to  Ft Sam Houston in San Antonio. On our way home, in March 2004, we traveled to the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, staying, a week at Bentsen Palm Village RV Park in Mission. We departed the Rio Grande Valley early on the 17th of March, bound for Florida.
