We didn't have any problems towing the trailer a short 17 miles from Annapolis to home on 7 July. We're approximately 52' when hitched together; definitely one of the big boys when on the road!
For our maiden trip, we took grandchildren to Newport News Park, approximately 200 miles to the South of us for a long week-end on the 16th. Not a bad park, although you can hear the traffic on the Interstate . Most of the sites are back-ins and shaded. Bath houses are so-so; just need up-grading. There is a lake for fishing only and the Williamsburg attractions are very close by. NOTE: Newport news park was damaged by hurricane Isabel in September and was closed- check before going there.
We stayed home in August and took care of some RV mechanical problems. In September we went to South Carolina.
