Pennsylvania 2005

The first thing that we noticed when crossing into Pennsylvania from Maryland on I-70 was the condition of their roads; terrible compared to Maryland. The road surface at New Stanton's toll booth exit was deplorable. The road surface crossing into Ohio was a welcome relief. Pennsylvania should have paid us $5.75 for driving on their roads instead of charging us the Pennsylvania Turnpike toll!
Crossing the Allegheny Mountains along the Pennsylvania Turnpike was no problem.
We were surprised to see wind generators in Pennsylvania, having previously seen them in Texas.
