Maryland 2005

Prior to departing for Snowbird 2005-06, the RV required some fiberglass repairs. I accidentally fractured the fiberglass around the shore power receptacle while moving the RV a few feet with the shore power still connected; the cable got caught under a tire and pulled out the receptacle causing multiple fractures (should have taken a picture!). AM PM Marine, a boat yard close by, proved to be the most convenient place to have the repairs made. Although the RV looked out of place in a boat yard, the repairs were carried out in a satisfactory and timely manner.
Our plan is to depart early 21 August 2005 and arrive at Zion River RV Resort, Virgin, Utah, where we will spend several days visiting Zion National Park and the surrounding area. Next, we'll go North to Teton Valley Campground, another base campground in Victor, Idaho. From here we'll visit Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park without the RV. We will be staying at Yellowstone Lake Hotel for a few days. Finally, we'll head South to River Breeze RV Resort, our desert winter campground, which is located on the Colorado River at I-10 on the Arizona-California boarder in the town of Ehrenberg, Arizona.
From Ehrenberg we plan to take day trips and over-nighter's to California and other attractions in Arizona.
Our return to Maryland is unknown at the present and is dependent on family health conditions at home. In any event, we plan to be home in early April 2006.
We returned home on the 12th of May.
Through the Tails of Hope Sanctuary, we became foster pet parents to Selena on the 22nd of July. She is an absolute delight!
